Arabian Nights Baby Shower
Mood Board: Focused on bright colors (teal, orange-y coral, purple w/ accents of lime and blue) and gold.
Styling & Hosting Tips:
Place the balloon garland and welcome sign w/ easel on the front patio (see image below for example of placement).
For the balloon garland, you could replace the light pink balloons with the purple ones, to be a bit more on the color palette. Or you can just add the purple balloons in, and make the garland fuller.
For a show stopping, instagrammable space, utilize the outdoor living space to hang teal, orange-y coral, purple and gold (or any combo of those) fabrics from the ceiling and place the dessert table under or in front of the fabric. Use the gold sequin table runner, add the cake, custom cookies, baklava + mimosa bar w/ beautiful glasses, a couple of lanterns and votives. *Use command hooks to hang the fabric without damaging the ceiling
Mimosa Bar: Set out several bottles of champagne, place one in a pretty wine chiller. Use three glass jars for the juices and make sure to have plenty of glasses for guests to help themselves
Create cozy conversational areas around the pool utilizing any Mediterranean/ Arabian rugs, pillows and poufs that the hostesses may own. Add hookahs, lanterns, candles and plants to enhance the look! The more the better!
Flowers - Stick with bright florals, but toned down a bit with some white blooms. Opt for gold or clear vases. Plan on a medium arrangement and a small arrangement for the dessert table. You could also sprinkle small arrangements (even bud vases with 1-2 flowers) around the outdoor living space or anywhere else guests might gather. You could also print out a few baby pictures of the mom and dad to-be and place them around the shower as well, for an extra personal touch.
Games: Choose 2 printable baby shower games from the link.
Also, a "Henna Tattoo" station might also be a fun activity and would make for some cute pics! (see excel sheet for links)
Playlist: Search Arabian Nights Baby Shower tsc on Spotify (this is not completed yet, but will be soon!)
Food: For catering, I would suggest the Halal Guys. Buffet hummus and Pita and select either 1 or 2 of the sandwich combos (depending on any dietary restrictions). I would add the baklava, to give your guests another dessert options.
Drinks: I would suggest a mimosa bar, as mentioned above, bottled water and sparkling water (2 flavors should suffice); These could be placed out by the pool near the conversational areas in a pretty beverage bucket.
